While our product is not specifically targeted towards acne, you will likely see a reduction in blemishes and an improved skin texture. Most products on the market use drying agents that target not only blemishes but also the skin around it, creating dry, flaky skin. This can often trigger the release of sebum to support the dried-out skin, potentially clogging pores and leading to new breakouts. Our Foaming Facial Cleanser includes natural ingredients to help support the skin's ability to manage blemishes before they start, and does not dry out your skin in the process. If I am using the Foaming Facial Cleanser do I still need a toner? The benefits and pH balancing elements of the cleanser removes the need for a toner. Our product cleanses and tones, saving you time (and money). How do I use Foaming Facial Cleanser? Your first step to beautiful skin is to cleanse your skin. Foaming Facial Cleanser is a rich formula that activates water to create a creamy, dense foam that gently removes impurities without stripping the skin of its essential moisture. It removes accumulated sweat, oils, makeup, and environmental pollutants to prevent breakouts and irritation. Pump the nozzle one or two times to release foam onto your fingers.

• Massage gently onto damp skin in a circular motion for one minute, working your cleanser over your skin, paying particular attention around your nose, chin, forehead, and any area where you tend to break out.
• Don't neglect your hairline, ears, or your throat and upper chest and always be gentle over blemishes so that you don't break the surface of the skin. Rinse away foam thoroughly with warm water and pat skin dry.
• Apply either a day or night cream.
• Use the Foaming Face Cleanser once or twice per day.

NOTE: For best results, follow up cleansing with the Nourishing Day Cream or Ultra-Light Sheer Day & Night Cream in the morning and the Restorative Night Cream at night. These products are designed to work in synergy to thoroughly cleanse and nourish your skin. Why does the pH level of my skin matter? According to our team of skin-care experts, who have years of research experience, a pH of 5 or 6 is ideal for the skin. A higher pH level will lead to cracked and dry skin. Skin with a pH that's more normal, thanks to the introduction of Kiwifruit with a pH of 4 to 5.5, will be healthier and better able to resist air pollution and other contaminants. Will the Foaming Facial Cleanser dry my skin out? Within the first few days to a week of using the Foaming Facial Cleanser, you may find your skin to be slightly drier than normal, however, we recommend persevering, as it may take about one week for your skin's pH level to naturally balance. You may experience this effect especially if you have been using soap or other harsh chemical-based cleansers on your face, which can upset the natural pH balance. After about one week your skin will be naturally balanced and the dryness will be gone, following which your skin should feel nourished and hydrated. Our Foaming Facial Cleanser contains Cetiol HE, which is a coconut oil-based ingredient which helps to boost the skin's moisture levels without leaving any residue or dryness behind. What is the shelf life of your products? We have a significant number of antioxidants in our skincare, and as we are careful to prevent oxidation of these potent ingredients, we have chosen to package these products in tubes. This prevents excessive exposure of the product to air. Our skincare products have a shelf life of two years from manufacture date and we recommend storing them in a cool dry place. Does Kanapa™ skincare contain any mineral oils? None of our products contains mineral oils. Mineral oils can clog the pores, interfere with the skin's ability to eliminate toxins and encourage breakouts. We use nourishing plant-based oils which nourish the skin without aggravating acne.
