MSM
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a natural compound made of an organic form of sulfur. It is found in humans, animals, and plants. It can also be made chemically.
MSM is usually associated with its anti-inflammatory properties to treat pain and swelling brought on by arthritis but also tendinitis, osteoporosis, and muscle cramps and can help with chronic head aches too.
Sulfur also plays a role in skincare and can be applied topically to help treat fine lines and wrinkles.
MSM is available in certain foods such as apples, raspberries, milk, tomatoes, and whole grains. However, it is only a small amount and it's best to consume these foods cold/ raw and unprocessed rather than warm.
Some think it is a great dietary supplement for hair growth as it can help to strengthen the bonds in Keratin which is needed for hair growth and strong nails.
