Lecithin
Lecithin is a fatty acid that is a natural substance found in the tissues of the human body. It stops fats and oils from mixing together along with other substances.
Lecithin is usually made from eggs, sunflowers seeds and soy (the most popular method). However sunflower seeds are gaining popularity as they use a more gentle method or extraction and avoiding using genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
It's main benefits are to help treat high colesterol, can be used to aid breast feeding, improving heart health and can also be used to treat ulcerative colitis.
