Colostrum & Lactoferrin

Colostrum and Lactoferrin are essentially breast milk that mammals produce just after giving birth. Lactoferrin is a protein found in breast milk. It is the early milk as it is produced first and is a thick consistency, and a yellow/ gold color before it takes on the regular appearance of milk.

It is highly nutritious and is great for fighting infections, especially in newborns.

Colostrum and Lactoferrin supplements are made from the colostrum of cows, we call this Bovine (Bovine Colostrum). It is pasteurized, freeze-dried, and crushed into a powder. It can be taken as a pill or mixed into liquids to drink.
