How does Vielight Neuro Duo 4 work?
The Vielight Neuro 4 has 5 Vie-LED modules that emit pulsed 810nm near-infrared light at 10 Hz (Alpha mode) and 40 Hz (Gamma mode) to stimulate the brain cells without generating heat.
The Vielight Neuro 4’s energy geometry is engineered to intentionally overlap broadened fields over Default Mode Network (DMN) nodes with the highest independently measured irradiance in commercially available brain photobiomodulation devices, while still bathing the wider cortex. This is why five VieLED modules can produce an effect that is effectively full‑transcranial, with a focus on the DMN.
Although near-infrared light is mostly invisible, the design of helmet efficiently produces the highest amount of power in the industry (~300 mW/cm2 irradiance, 1000 mW per transcranial LED, 5000-6000 mW total).
